The bridge housing locations offer temporary shelter for homeless (or at risk of homelessness) individuals aged 18 or older with an LGBTQI+ background. During a short period of 3 to 6 months, we look for a suitable follow-up location. This period lasts for a maximum of one year. 2 experienced counselors with affinity for and knowledge of the LGBTQI+ community provide the support. Staff members are not present at this location throughout the entire day. However, 24-hour phone support is available. Registration for the LGBTQI+ bridge housing at the Tussenvoorziening is done through a referrer. Clients cannot register themselves.
