The small-scale infirmary at Nieuwegracht 92 in Utrecht offers short-term 24-hour shelter for sick homeless people who need care and observation, for example, during a recovery period after hospital discharge or when suffering from the flu. Medical care—which is not available 24/7—is provided by nurses from the Salvation Army. The infirmary has space for four people. The building also houses the Herstart drop-in center and the LDO.
