Cold weather protocol
Please note: during cold weather, everyone is entitled to shelter
The cold weather protocol starts when the perceived temperature drops below 0 degrees at night, or if there is a code red. This only applies to the period from November 1 to March 31.
During the cold weather protocol, anyone who is homeless can find a place to sleep in the shelter.
This also applies to people who normally do not have a right to shelter.
