Are you looking for shelter?
In the Netherlands, there is a policy called regional binding. You need this for night shelter or, for example, a homeless benefit. The following factors are considered:
- Whether and in which municipality you have been registered during the past year.
- The presence of a social network in Utrecht.
- The reason for applying in Utrecht.
Report to Stadsteam BackUp to see what your rights and options are in the Utrecht Region.
Are you stuck?
Do you have doubts about Stadsteam’s decision?
Or do you have no rights and don’t know what to do now?
Advocates will listen to your story and think along with you. Maybe they can help you.
Some advocates help a specific group of people. Others are there for everyone. You are not alone.
