De Stadsbrug offers low-threshold (night) shelter to a group of 80 homeless individuals. Some of the guests come from outside the Netherlands and consist of a group of vulnerable citizens from EU countries. In collaboration with our network partners, they are guided toward work, their country of origin, and/or appropriate care. Additionally, De Stadsbrug serves as an overflow location for Dutch homeless people who cannot be accommodated at other shelter locations due to a shortage of beds. De Stadsbrug also has sleeping spots specifically for women. If you want to use the shelter in Utrecht, you must have a connection to Utrecht or demonstrate that you have the best chance of recovery in Utrecht, for example, because your social network lives here. You can then submit a connection request to the City of Utrecht.
